I've never run a fever of 103.9 with 'sniffles', never collapsed on a sofa 1 leg on, 1 leg off, 1 shoe on, 1 shoe off and not remember getting there or finding my keys lying on my chest UPON RETURNING FROM A LAB TEST, in this case the COVID test. And sniffles certainly never made me feel like someone let the air of out me, pushed down hard again to release ANY remaining energy.

I've NEVER changed my 'shorts' in the middle of the night 7 TIMES with the sniffles.

Random (drama queen) anecdotal evidence doesn't magically transform COVID into being EVEN AS BAD AS the ordinary flu. :dunno:
