There’s Nothing Wrong With Open Borders

By stopping travelers from global hotspots, Trump likely prevented more infected carriers from accelerating the spread of the foreign virus in the USA. That means the spread of the virus from abroad was slowed.

Does not include individuals repatriated to the US from Wuhan, China, and from the Diamond Princess cruise ship.

How many of those infected patients passed the virus to others?

Supposition, leggie. That's fine as a hypothetical, not so much when it comes to statistics. The cruise people are Americans and trump doesn't want them counted because he knows the number of cases will rise.

Where 2020 DEMOCRAT Candidates Stand On Border Crossings

By you, perhaps.

You also insist that you can unilaterally define "open borders". :D

I'm real familiar with that fallacy because it was used a lot during bush's immoral war in Iraq. Example: "You're either with us or you're with the terrorists." :)

False dichotomy: A false dichotomy is a type of informal fallacy in which a statement falsely claims an "either/or" situation, when in fact there is at least one additional logically valid option. The false dichotomy fallacy can also arise simply by accidental omission of additional options rather than by deliberate deception.

Supposition, leggie.

Is it supposition to think that keeping a female cat in heat separated from a tomcat will slow the number of litters such a union is likely to produce?

Trump didn't compile the statistics in the graphic that Y O U posted.

Now, answer my question. How many of those infected patients passed the virus to others?

I'll be the arbiter of what I do and when, not you.

I hate to leave a job unfinished, so I think it better to continue my education of Y O U, dancin' Duchess of Double standards. :D

Ooh, testy. :eek2: Very few of my suggestions are without merit as you well know, leggiecrite. :D

An open border is a border that enables free movement of people (and often of goods) between jurisdictions with few or no restrictions on movement, that is lacking substantive border control. A border may be an open border due to intentional legislation allowing free movement of people across the border (de jure), or a border may be an open border due to a lack of legal controls, a lack of adequate enforcement or adequate supervision of the border (de facto). An example of the former is the Schengen Agreement between most members of the European Economic Area (EFTA and the EU). An example of the latter has been the border between Bangladesh and India, which is becoming controlled. The term "open borders" applies only to the flow of people, not the flow of goods and services, and only to borders between political jurisdictions

Compare that your convenient redefinition.

Can you explain why your Messiah waited 136 days to declare a national emergency after the WHO and CDC declared the H1N1 pandemic, dear Duchess of Double Standards?

:D

They seem to be ignoring Yahweh fact that the WHO downplayed what was happening in China as late as January. Just sayin

Also S Korea who they think is the model of testing has only tested 200 thousand plus of a country of 58 million.

It is simple math which is why leftists struggle with it. If 4% of people tested are positive and 12,000 people are positive then......

So what we can deduce from this is that S Korea isn’t testing everyone or they really aren’t that good at it or there is really no need to. I suspect the latter.

Is that what you do, Mr. Earl?
No, Miss Marple.

In three decades of marriage, I have never, I repeat never, committed adultery. I have looked but never done the deed. My esposa is a Latina and I was told, early on, what would happen if I strayed.

I would like to think that my pristine morality has accounted for this but...

True story.

The problem is we have no respect for them and they want it.

That can only be earned by being truthful, thoughtful and well intentioned. They have none of that.

Hello Darth Omar,

We lost 12,000 lives to H1N1 under Obama and I recall little about it, actually.

I will never forget the COVID Panic of 2020. Neither will a lot of people. The virus has been in the country since December and I see we’re up to 55 deaths. Think we’ll ‘get there’?

It's going to get worse before it gets better.

We won't know that until we see more graphs of the cumulative coronavirus cases over time, n'cest pas?
