hahahahaha, Nothin Accomplished!

Is that right?

Show me your source for that claim.

The average employer-sponsored family premium has gone up by $4,154 under Obama, from 2008, before he took office, to 2014, according to the Kaiser Family Foundation’s annual employer survey conducted with the Health Research & Educational Trust. The catch? That’s relatively slow growth for premiums. The RNC may cast it as bad news, but it’s an improvement compared with the growth in premiums before Obama took office.

Under Bush, the average family premiums (including both what employers and employees pay) went up $4,677 in his last six years in office, from 2002 to 2008, an increase of 58 percent. That $4,154 growth under Obama is a 33 percent increase. If we look at Bush’s first six years, the discrepancy gets even bigger: From 2000, the year before Bush was first inaugurated, to 2006, the average family premium went up $5,042, or an increase of 78 percent. (See Exhibit 1.11 on page 31 of the KFF report for these numbers.)

Remind me, isn't it 2017? Are you pretending that premiums have fallen since 2014 when Obamacare was first inflicted on millions of people?

Let's see that data compared to previous premium increases.

We can pray for a nothing burger presidency. That would be the best outcome. It would also sour Repukes in the future from voting for an empty suit blabbermouth.

Anything was a better choice than an empty pantsuit.

If the DNC under Dirty Debbie hadn't colluded with Crooked Hillary, I might have had another choice.

But they did, and I didn't, so I voted for the only alternative with a chance to stop the American Borgias from regaining power.

I won't bother discussing Hillary with you, your opinion of her is very obviously one sided.

Trump honed in on white people feeling left behind. Trump didn't have an ear to the average voter, how many times did he go out amongst the people and actually talk with them instead of preaching behind a pulpit? His ears were Breitbart and the Alt Right. He has no idea what the rural farmer in Kansas or the guy in Detroit are facing except for generalities.

His lack of interest in what he promised on the campaign is obvious by the horrible legislation he has supported in the form of healthcare, he hasn't a clue what needs to be done to bring cheaper healthcare for all as he promised.

He is also promoting tax cuts for the rich which we know doesn't create jobs, but Republicans keep pushing it does.

Republicans don't see this guy is setting them up, it's great entertainment.
Just stating facts. Had Hillary been THE candidate, she would have won. The fact that she didn't is... not a one sided but well rounded opinion.

As I've stated over and over, premiums have risen more slowly under ObamaCare than they rose before ObamaCare became law. Go read the facts for yourself

You made the claim, Zappacrite show me the proof. Pasting a link and hoping I won't read the webpage it belongs to highlights your ignorance.

Poor Zappacrite.

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) released a new analysis today that shows premiums have doubled for individual health insurance plans since 2013, the year before many of Obamacare’s regulations and mandates took effect. The analysis is based on data compiled by the previous Administration, and the report was produced by the Office of The Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE).

“With data that shows average premiums doubling nationwide and Americans paying nearly $3,000 more for health insurance per year, this report is a sobering reminder of why reforming our healthcare system remains a top priority of the Trump Administration. The status quo is unsustainable.” – HHS National Spokesperson, Alleigh Marré

According to the report:

Average individual market premiums more than doubled from $2,784 per year in 2013 to $5,712 on Healthcare.gov in 2017 – an increase of $2,928 or 105%.

All 39 states using Healthcare.gov experienced an increase in individual market premiums from 2013 – 2017.

62% of states using Healthcare.gov had 2017 premiums double what was measured in 2013.

Three states – Alaska, Alabama, and Oklahoma – saw premiums triple from 2013-2017.

A fool and completely incompetent can win, that is the issue here. I could care less who you voted for, I am asking a general question. Blame Trump, blame the people who support him, but what about Hillary? She couldn't win against Trump, she would have never won against any of the other former R candidates. Enough with the blaming Trump or the voters, time to get down to who really is to blame. We owe it to the American people.

I blame the GOP that they weren't able to field a decent candidate who could prevail over trump. Something like 17 threw their hats in the ring and we ended up with the biggest loser. We could have had Kasich or Paul, and no doubt I would have criticized some of their positions, but they aren't complete ignoramuses like trump.

Cons never want to talk about this and yes, I know you're not a con, I'm commenting on those who are.

I never once claimed premiums didn't go up.

More diversionary nonsense from another Trumpkin who can't STAND IT that ObamaCare helped slow the rate of premium increases.

Did I claim that you claimed premiums didn't go up, Zappacrite? I don't think I did.

I know what you claimed, Zappacrite. Here it is:

As I've stated over and over, premiums have risen more slowly under ObamaCare than they rose before ObamaCare became law.

Is this your idea of "rising more slowly under Obamacare than they rose before Obamacare became law", Zappacrite? If so, pray explain.

I'm not sure about the whole "working with" thing. Only the party with a modicum more power wants the other party to work with it.

This shit will not be ironed out until one party or the other wrests absolute control, for a sufficient length of time, jams an agenda down the throat of the recalcitrants, and it happens to works well.
That's a 20 year stretch I'm contemplating. Then it becomes like social security, or fails....

Skyrocketing premiums are the result of the GOP refusing to work with Democrats to repair the problems with the ACA.

The GOP's obstinate refusal to reach across the aisle is going to come back and bite them in the ass next year.

Well, given that its entire purpose is to wreck the healthcare industry so as to promote single-payer, I'd say it has more than problems.

Um...he said it would be "so easy." Didn't he realize that he had to work w/ Congress?

That would be pretty clueless if he didn't, right?
sorry to pop your trial balloon.....the Senate was pretty clueless for not passing it.......especially this last block grant proposal.......Republicans have been preaching block grants to the states for decades and they couldn't get 51 votes.......

Yes, premiums did rise under ObamaCare, as many ahve said, there were and ARE problems that need to be addressed.

But the fact remains that premiums rose at a SLOWER rate once Obama Care was implemented, than before when insurance companies set their own rate increases.

mine doubled the first year......how slow was that?.....

You're a hardcore right-wing hack, so of course not you.

But there are plenty of indies questioning why they voted the way they did.

if so they can tell us in 2020.....meanwhile that poll we discussed yesterday on this board said that indies were 63% unhappy with the demmycrats in Congress.....they can tell us about that in 2018.......

Don't blame the Democrat party because you were duped into voting for the Reality TV Reject. .

duped?......I'm happy with everything Trump had accomplished in the last nine months.......true I want more, because I'm not tired of winning yet......but so far everything has been wins.......there will be plenty more wins between now and 2024........including a new health care system rising from the ashes of Obamacare.......
