Feminists applaud Trump for support of Iranian dissidents

What rights, good grief, educate yourself. Where were you during the Women’s March. Men like you are part of the problem, no awareness.

No, we are not on the same level as Iran, who is not on the same level as Saudi Arabia, but women here are still fighting for equality and the world follows our lead.

There will be another’s women’s march and they/we/I fight for women all over the world, even the right for women to wear their Muslim attire if that is what they wish, but that it is their choice, it’s all about choice.
You are truly full of shit, Doris.

sso what rights are you lacking as an American woman? pointing to a march of dissaffected Pussy Hats is not an answer
She has been kissing Snarla's arse for too long. The dozy bint should get off her arse and do some travelling, although she's probably too long in the tooth now.

Why do people call on liberals to "praise Trump?"

Major qualifier here: I AM NOT COMPARING TRUMP TO HITLER HERE. But the logic is the same. Hitler was fantastic for the German economy for awhile. But his transgressions were such that anyone intelligent & rational would not "praise" him for that.

It is very much the same with Trump, on that level. Trump is a terrible leader, and bad for America in ways that we haven't even realized yet. The fact that he is a President is a travesty. So don't hold your breath waiting for liberals to praise this or that issue where he may - by luck or intent - actually produce something positive.

conflation, and you neglect to understand SA society is reforming itself both by Mohammed bin Salman (crown Prince), and by it's vast amounts of foreign students coming home. women are starting to run for Office.

SA is a very conservative country, Iran is too-although at least Iran was secular and western before the Ayatollahs.
Trying to parse differences really isn't helpful- Tehran women wear make up and have more nose jobs the Beverly Hills - but the repression is on both sexes

I have conflated anything, I’m sorry you don’t understand the content of my post.

This faux concern propogated by conservative media is amusing, constantly trying to vilify feminism. There was a lot of support on social media for the young woman who was protesting the dress code in Iran.

But no support for Trump who has castigated the regime at the UN and on Twitter, for amongst other things, their oppression of women.

And there’s one poster here who is apparently a pipeline for the regimes propagada and nothing but silence from leftist protestors.

You actually think he cares about women’s rights when he mocked the Women’s March? You actually think he cares about protestors when he ridicules the NFL players and Charlettresville? Yeah, you’re a Trumptard.

You should try to stop insulting people, and actually make an argument or two once in awhile.

It will improve the board.
I ignore him for this very reason, his posting has really deterriated in the last couple of years.

Sorry, I do not need you mansplaining to me about the heroic efforts of Donald J. Trump to fight for Iranian women's rights.

Why don't you let women in Iran, in Saudi Arabia, and in the United States define what issues are important to them, and what greivances they want to petition their governments over?

Nobody is ever, never, ever ever, going to take Trump seriously as a passionate fighter for women's rights in Iran, in the United States, or anywhere on the fucking planet. So begging people to give Trump applause just makes you look pathetic and weak.

Since your only source of news appears to be breitbart, let me clue you into something. The educated left is frequently talking about, writing about Muslim women's civil rights, in Huffington Post, in Aljazeera, in feminist blogs, and in prominent international human rights watch dog NGOs - purportedly all leftwing, Kenyan Marxists entities.

And the "sudden" concern rightwingers have for Iranian women's rights strikes me as less than genuine, and entirely opportunistic and cynical.
