Every green initiative has been a disaster

It was Einstein on being told that there were a hundred people against his theories said, "If I am wrong then surely one would suffice?"

Man you are losing it. You've said that already too. To which I said, true, but for every genius revolutionary thinker there are 1000 to the googol plex power failures. Do you just go around here posting THE SAME THINGS over and over?

Maintenance is a cost for any form of energy, and those costs are much higher for a nuke facility.

You already did the whole Bill Nye shit with me. Have you NO MEMORY AT ALL? I said you needn't listen to Bill Nye or Al Gore, nor should anyone else. That said, those guys are entitled to shout their opinions just as you and I may. If they capture an inordinate amount ears, that's the listeners collective fault. Plus, those guys, like me, simply regurgitate the cutting edge state of the art of real expert opinion in climate science, so they are rational in their message, as opposed to you, some right wing Australians and Limbaugh, who spout a heterodoxy.

My prediction is Big Oil are going to pay some massive class action settlements probably prosecuted by nation states in the not so distant future. It will follow the Tobacco liability cases to a T
Yes I did and repeated it to piss you off, job done.

At least we know your purpose, troll.

"The best way to make a country fail, is to make energy expensive and unstable."

That seems to be the purpose for advocating " green" nrg under the ridiculous guise of changing the weather.

BTW, calling renewable energy green is a misnomer. CO2 is what makes plant life green. lol

Whoever Controls Language Controls Thought

Up to levels it rarely reaches, pollution is actually antiseptic. It kills harmful microbes and insects long before it does any harm to humans. "Pollution" (a biased term that should be replaced with "byproducts") is like driving down a moderately rocky road; "Clean" natural air is like driving down a road lined with pedestrians throwing rocks at you.

Germany now has the second most expensive electricity in the world after Denmark and the Energiewende has turned energy generation into a nightmare. But of course these parochial zealots are totally unaware of the catastrophe it has become.

Treehuggers are degenerate mutants driven by a Death Wish to drag us down into their pit. Chaos fascinates these sickos.

Easy enough. If photosynthesis is the starting point for fossil fuels then the carbon in fossil fuels should be sp4 hybridized carbon and by golly it is.

Or to put it another way....WHY THE HELL DO YOU THINK THEY CALL THEM FOSSIL FUELS IN THE FIRST PLACE???!!!!!

I would love to know how you came to the conclusion that carbon can be sp4 hybridised? I assume that you are referring to aromatic hydrocarbons and cyclohexane s.

uhhh...it has 3 electrons in its p valence shell and an s level electron with a 3/4 contribution towards the p shell making 4 covalent bonds possible in a carbon atom. From a hueristic stand point sp4 makes more sense than s(3/4)p3.

Sp4 would mean five orbitals and there are only four available 3p and 1s, if you are looking for another p electron then you'd have to go to another shell and that's too far apart in energy to have any mixing effect.

This must be a biology thing, no one teaching chemistry would condone the concept of sp4.

Read what wrote again a little more carefully.
