The problem is the reporting of the deaths.

If they just wouldn't report so many deaths then the numbers would look much better.

If there is ever a time in a nation's story where strong, centralized leadership is vital to survival, it's a pandemic. You can say the same about an attack too, like 9/11. I didn't like W at all, but at least he rose to the challenge and brought us all together after that horror. Can you even imagine if #TRE45ON had been POTUS then? Bin Laden would have become his new best buddy, "so misunderstood, it's so unfair to him, we get along fine, it's a beautiful thing." Let them die, in my opinion. It's now RAVAGING red states, all across the electoral map. These ingrates in their hubris have spread this misery all due to their obscene and obnoxious petulance. The republikan party is a criminal mob party, and they're being wilfully lead down top the abyss by the one thing none of us want to discuss -

THE VOTERS.

The problem with republicans is their voters. Their voters are stupid, uneducated, propagandized rubes who believe the corrupt right wing narrative that claims everyone on the entire planet is out to get trump, requiring them to suspend reason, which says the world ISNT out to get Trump, he's just really that bad.

White capitalist amerika is a racist front for christian dominionism and austerity on a scale of cruelty beyond the pale.

They have lost all legitimacy; it's also why I do not get upset at the protests becoming violent. The state, in its dereliction, no longer has a monopoly on force. They have denied the citizenry a voice for so long that violence seems to be the only thing that works. At this point the state and its enablers do not get to complain about the protests being violent.

The death rate is flat which proves the ECDC is correct regarding classification of cases.

Now that Trump is going to hide data, I expect those numbers will drop to "zero".

GF said there is only one China virus case in her hospital, and that case is not critical. A small office that was performing China virus tests has shut down due to no one showing up to be tested. We're all good here.
 
I performed an extrapolation on July 13th which indicated that by July 25th, the USA would be at 2 million Active Cases.

I wonder if that will turn out to be correct. We will know it a week.

If we continue at this rate, we will reach 2 million Active Cases within 2 days, 4 days ahead of the previous extrapolation.

Irresponsible 4th of July celebrations conducted with a disregard for the CDC guidelines are just now beginning to show up in the data.

Dr Fauci has been correct. If we don't make some responsible adjustments to the way we conduct ourselves, things could get really out of control.

Often, things settle down on the weekends, with fewer reported test results and fewer New Cases.

But we had a big day yesterday, regardless.

Yesterday does not bode well for this week if it is going to come on stronger by mid week, as has been the trend.
