Fewer than 200 to go, and we have not had a day with fewer than 200 deaths in over 2 months, since March 23rd.

he source of the virus from China is China. They lied about the source and their number of fatalities. They would not share data with our health professionals that might have mitigated their virus from China. They nailed shut the doors of those with the virus from China They did not stop flights out of China and the virus from China spread around the world.

Of course, we all know it is really well over 100,000. Of that there can be little doubt if the documented count is so close.

We still don't know if immunity can exist. This is a brand new disease. Many diseases have never resulted in an effective vaccine nor immunity, or they never found a cure.

The 100,000 American deaths figure was surpassed today.
I first extrapolated that it would occur on the 20th, and was glad I was wrong.
A more updated extrapolation suggested it would occur on the 27th or 28th.
I was wrong again, but in the opposite direction.
I tried to anticipate a more flattened curve for the latest extrapolation, but the curve is not flattening out as much as I estimated.
And the worst thing is I don't see it slowing down much.
I see no reason to think this won't continue racking up more deaths.
We will see 110,000, 120,000 and more.
We continue to see 20K new cases each day, and the number of serious or critical cases continues to remain above 17,000.
And remember that there are plenty of people who recover from this. Nearly a 1/2 million Americans have recovered, (468K.)
Once someone recovers, they no longer test positive for the virus. They no longer count in the Active Cases figure.
The number of Active Cases needs to peak out at some point, and begin falling.
That's the peak we are looking for.
But we are not there yet.

1. We passed 100,000 deaths.
2. We are rapidly closing in on 1/2 million who have had the disease and recovered.
3. We passed 300 deaths per million Americans.
4. Spain UK, Italy and France still have more deaths per million than the USA, nearly all over 500.
5. Brazil had almost as many New Cases as the USA, 15.6K vs 19K, but has very little testing.
