And all of that 'open the economy' push during the fall, coupled with sending kids back to school. The kids don't show symptoms but they transmit the disease to the adults. The young adults with kids are going to bars and socially irresponsible rallies and then visiting older relatives for the holidays. No reason to expect anything less than huge surges in the pandemic numbers for the next few weeks, sadly. And it didn't have to be that way if we had better leadership sending clear and concise messages.
