Can you point to one real lie Trump told, with the exact quote and link?

It brought up the story about how Trump was forced by his own administration to say he meant ‘wouldn’t’ instead of ‘would’. What about it? When a man is ordered to take back something he said, the intent to deceive is not his, but those who do the ordering. All POTUS’ find themselves in this position from time to time – that’s politics, especially in regard to global adversaries and diplomatic relations with them. Trump doesn’t run the GOP, and when they insist he do something he will have to bend to their wishes. Now, before you call the GOP liars for this, as I said, many mistruths are told by political parties regarding their global enemies – that’s politics, war and life in general. We don’t sum it up as “lying”. It’s called politics and world diplomatic relations.

You provide no evidence Trump was "forced" to say anything. Can you provide proof? You have been presented with clear evidence he lied and rather than accept it say he was forced to lie (which is still a lie). Who "runs" the GOP that forced him to lie? He runs the GOP as much as anybody since the president is the titular party head.

If you mean this article, by Business Insider, it's Fake News. Trump said TWO things. They're in the article, and for a better understanding, it is on the video in that link. Watch it carefully. TWO things are being said. That is why the article shows the two parts in two separate paragraphs with a space between.

First paragraph or statement (emphasis mine):

One of the things that really I’m happy is that the soldiers that died in Korea, their remains are going to be coming back home, and we have thousands of people that have asked for that – thousands and thousands of people.

Second paragraph or statement (emphasis mine):

So many people asked when I was on the campaign. I’d say, ‘wait a minute, I don’t have any relationship’ – but they said, ‘when you can, president, we’d love our son to be brought back home’ – you know, the remains.

In the first paragraph/statement he is talking about the thousands of people who want the remains to come home. In the second paragraph/statement he is talking about the parents. He describes their number only as “so many people”.

“So many people” doesn’t mean thousands. Thus - no lie. The mischievous editing once again took an event and described it out of context, unfairly, in order to create a "lie".

So who was this mischievous creator?

The reporter was this young guy, with the appropriate name John Haltiwanger.

He is the anti-Trump millennial who wrote this glowing advertisement for Democratic Socialism.

He grew up in Washington DC and has a Bachelor of Arts (2010). Then he was an unpaid volunteer English teacher in a government school in Georgia (which borders Russia, Turkey, Armenia and Azerbaijan. From there he went to Glasgow to study International Relations. Back home in the U.S. he tried to freelance as a writer before finally getting a job in 2017 as a breaking news writer for left winged Newsweek, and now works for left winged Business Insider.

Why does this matter? It matters because when you see the article is from Business Insider you imagine a table full of crusty old cigar smoking political wise guys, not some young metrosexual with no understanding of politics.

How does it feel, to be hoodwinked by little Johnny Haltiwanker? :)

I didn't mention "thousands" it's highly unlikely ANY parents asked for their SONS' remains let alone enough to be called "so many". Do we have a record of how many 100+ year old people talked to Trump during the campaign? Use your fucking brain.

Many on the left say that Trump lies.

"I watched when the World Trade Center came tumbling down. And I watched in Jersey City, N.J., where thousands and thousands of people were cheering as that building was coming down. Thousands of people were cheering."
- Donald Trump, Nov 21, 2015.

Did anyone else see thousands of people in Jersey City cheering on 9/11? No. Is there a video record of these celebrations? No. This leaves two possibilities: either Trump imagined he saw something that wasn't there, or he made it up.

As with so many of Trump's false statements, it's unclear whether the explanation is stupidity or mendacity. But one thing you can be sure of: he will never retract it.

It was one of those crazy rumors people repeat after major events.

I get it that online political forums are basically a place to waste time and shoot the breeze, but are we really seriously discussing trump lies with some one who is pretending Trump has never lied. I like wasting time as much as anyone...but really?

Anybody can point to and verify a Donald Trump lie.

The problem is where to start.

That being said, his lying only scratches the surface of his moral inadequacies.

Many on the left say that Trump lies.

Hello Mr Larrikin, I see you object to people calling Donald Trump a liar.

Ted Cruz is Lyin' Ted.

Jeb Bush's lies are almost as bad as Cruz's.

Marco Rubio is an even bigger liar than Cruz.

Ben Carson is a pathological liar.

Do you know who said all of the above?

That would involve writing a 400 page book. No thanks. The list of alleged Trump lies Fake News have gathered together in places like politifake, are false. They are a collection of misquotes, opinions, mischievous editing, exaggerations, out of context misreading, jokes, bluster, bad reporting and straight out lies by Trump-hating reporters; mostly millennials in their 20’s and early 30’s. I can prove your list is wrong by taking it on one lie at a time, if you work up the courage to supply the details of one lie, along with a link. Not a list; not a Gish Gallop. Just one lie and link, thanks.

Please provide the lie and the link.

What was the lie, and where is the link?

What lie?

I guess that means you won’t be providing an example of one lie then? Figures.

What am I supposed to do with that? It’s an article about Trump’s team. Where is the lie Trump told? Where is the link to it? What’s the matter? Has a 600 pound tiger got your tongue?

No, it would not take 400 pages to disprove a few of claims concerning his lies.

I provided the lie and a link.

You're clearly a waste of my time and I will be putting you on ignore now with the other useless trolls.
