Yes Texas had a hot spot out break and the death rate is heading back down. What do you want to bet Texas will have fewer COVID deaths in 2020 than NY does? Plus Texas has about 33% more residents than NY does. Also Texas isn't whining for the same levels federal help like Cuomo did.

The big failure of your sentence here is that Texas is seeing more cases than NY, four months after NY.

What that says is that TX did not take any lessons away from what happened in NY, which is why TX is now seeing record case counts and deaths today.

Its pretty hard to have a documented COVID death from an non documented COVID case.:palm:

Texas has fewer deaths per documented case because a lot of our cases are younger people AND we have protected the nursing homes and the most vulnerable population.

Which is due only to the efforts of the doctors and medical professionals, who learned how to treat COVID better in the four months since the outbreak in NY.

You don't get any credit for that. Neither does Trump. Neither does the GOP.

TX has more total COVID cases than NY has ever had.

First of all, if Texas is so great, how come they got hit with the worst outbreak since NY?

Secondly, Texas' case count spiked FOUR MONTHS after the outbreak in NY...so what that means is that Conservatives totally fucked up the response because there should have been ZERO outbreaks after NY.

Thirdly, despite all that, Texas has surpassed NY's case count, four months after the outbreak hit NY, and yet, Texas is still losing about 100 people a day and the virus is still spreading out of control in the state.

Fourthly, not sure why you think Texas is a model for success based on the death rate which is only lower than NY because doctors have had 4+ months to come up with better ways of identifying, diagnosing, and treating COVID.

So you don't get credit for that. Texas doesn't get credit for it either. The only ones who do get credit are the doctors and nurses who learned from NY and made adjustments to do better.

YOU DO NOT GET TO CLAIM THOSE PEOPLE OR THEIR EFFORT BECAUSE THEY TOLD YOU TO LOCK DOWN AND WEAR MASKS AND YOU SPREAD CONSPIRACIES AGAINST THEM.
