This caused some issues in NYC as food and other items didn't make it into the city and were delayed for some time. Unless he hiked in from New Jersey he didn't go to the site on the 12th as planes and automobiles were not making it into the city. "silly"

That is a different story, if the White House says he was not there, that is more evidence. I understood they simply said he was there another day. I am simply pointing out to those who attacked him because he was in D.C. part of they day that they were not using critical thinking skills. It does not matter to me if he was there or not. The guy has been caught in several lies over the past 20 years, and he might have lied again.

I also have it on good authority that ferries were running in the days after the attacks, there were ways in and out of the city.
Additionally the bridges over the Harlem River were not closed, vehicle traffic was able to get in and out of Manhattan. Not as easily as usually, but it was done. I have a close relative who drove out of and into the city on 9/12 via the bridges over the Harlem River.
