Mott the Hoople
Sweet Jane
When I was working in Arkansas we had this maintenance man from Missouri who was about three generations removed from the missing link. His family made a huge leap in social status when they moved from Cooter to Steele. Be that as is may one day at lunch I called him a Yankee. He started arguing that Steele, MO was south of the Mason/Dixon line in the Missouri bootleg thus making him a southerner. I pipped up and said "Don't listen to him fellas, you know how us Yankees lie!". To which all the guys from Arkansas started nodding their heads in agreement. From there on out thy called poor old Tracy "The Yankee".No no no!! Anything north of I-40 is Yankee. Own it.![]()
He never did forgive me for that.

Oh yea....anyone south of I 70 is a Reb. Deal with it.
