America is afraid

Very few Americans understand Iran, even many/most of the so called Iran experts.....Washington has been taken over by ideologs, only those who sell the kool-aid are allowed to stay, and there is near zero tolerance for disputing the script.

In practice what the Americans do is believe what ever the Zionist Colony says about Iran....and they lie constantly

But you Chinese Commies understand the 7th century savages?

When did America ever win a war against any nation?

America cut and ran from Afghanistan, Iraq, Vietnam, Korea.

The Soviets beat Hitler's Germany, and other nations bore the brunt of the Japanese aggression for years with scant notice from the weak and vacillating Americas.

The US joined the First World War after it was already decided by Britain and France.

Americans are ignorant, cowardly, addicted to comfort and self-indulgence.

The last war they successfully prosecuted was against the dying Spanish Empire in the nineteenth century.

The U.S. Navy Is Broken

Following intense naval engagements in March 2026, reports indicate the majority of Iran's conventional navy has been destroyed or severely damaged. CENTCOM reports over 30 ships were sunk or damaged, including key frigates, corvettes, and forward-basing ships like the Makran, rendering the fleet largely ineffective.

  • Damaged/Destroyed Assets: Major surface combatants, including Mowj-class warships, the Sabalan frigate, and IRIS Dena, were destroyed.
  • Failed Operations: By early March 2026, reports stated that in the Gulf of Oman, Iran went from 11 ships to zero in a few days.
  • Remaining Capability:
While some midget submarines (5+) and smaller patrol vessels may remain, the conventional blue-water navy was decimated.
    • Context: The U.S. military declared it "eliminated" 16 Iranian minelaying vessels.

The U.S. Navy has roughly 296 to 490+ ships in its total inventory (including reserves and non-commissioned vessels). While total inventory numbers vary by source, the active battle-force fleet—commissioned, frontline combat vessels—generally numbers around 251 to 296, including 11 aircraft carriers.

Long-Term Navy Logistics and Support‑Ship Crewing Challenges Affect At‑Sea Resupply

A persistent shortage of qualified civilian mariners and an aging, overtasked logistics fleet threaten the Navy’s ability to sustain at-sea resupply.

Military Sealift Command (MSC) has itself drafted plans to remove crews from as many as 17 support ships because there are not enough qualified mariners to operate them, a move that could free up 600–700 billets but would sideline critical hulls and shrink surge capacity.

MSC already relies on roughly 5,500 civilian mariners to crew its logistics fleet, so any shortfall forces blunt choices between keeping legacy platforms operational and concentrating crews on newer vessels like John Lewis–class oilers .

Many fuel-distribution and replenishment ships are older and heavily tasked — U.S. oilers spend more than six months underway on average — which increases maintenance needs, crew fatigue, and the risk that platforms become unavailable when demand spikes.

Older platforms transferred to civilian crewing had sensors and self‑defense features removed and saw crews shrink dramatically, lowering their suitability for contested environments.

Longer transit times, fewer proximate bases, and the need to refuel and rearm ships operating hundreds to thousands of miles away place extra strain on a finite pool of assets.
