Darla, do you sincerely believe this is all about race? Just think about how much time the media spends on this shit on a regular basis. If anyone thought Michelle Obama would be exempt from that because she is black, they are delusional. We live in a very superficial society. Sad, but true.

I went out for a business lunch, and the one thing I can't do that men can do, and this really bothers me, is hold alcohol well. It's really difficult for me when I have to go out and have two drinks. Two drinks and I'm buzzed off my ass.

Not to bring up Mad Men again, but what the heck - isn't it crazy how much they drink on that show? They get into work in the morning and crack a new bottle...I wonder if it was really like that. I can only imagine always feeling groggy, out of it & a bit hungover...

It's amazing. I can't do it. I bet it was like that, because even now, I go out to lunch and a lot of the time the guys I am with order martinis or grey goose and club. You don't want to be girly and order a diet coke, but it's hard, I just can't hold it they way some can. I don't know how people do it. But I bet that they drank right in the office back then routinely.

No poet, you have stated that no white person can prove they are being objective in criticism. That is true of everyone poet. You can't prove that you are objective about white candidates any more than any white person can prove they are objective in criticisms of black candidates (or a black President).
