We spend an average of 20 seconds typing out a thought as opposed to hours refining a work. I'd say that a message board is an example of conversation rather than writing skill.

He also states they "have sold themselves 'down the river.'" In other words, shunned by their own race. It's interesting, this is exactly how segregationists treated whites who supported Civil Rights.

As I have alluded to before, my mother marched with Dr. King from Selma to Montgomery. She had death threats, was called a "N-lover" and had her tires slashed. She marched with Dr. King because she thought it was the right thing to do. My Dad was worried, but he understood the importance to her, and supported her decision. I was just a little kid at the time, my Dad and I rode with my Uncle along the route, who was then a captain with the Selma police. So I have seen this type of behavior before, only turned around the other way.

Poet's bigotry doesn't allow him to see his own racism. The same can be said for all those who shunned whites for supporting Civil Rights.

IF she was on that march as you say I would be willing to bet that I know her or of her. I still say you're full of shit. BTW, most of the white girls there spent a lot of their time in the back seats of Cadillacs or on their knees behind tar paper shacks. I'll bet your mama was the one with the yellow dress and no panties on. Those of us, men and women, that were there get together periodically and reminisce about all that and laugh till the whiskey is all gone!!!!!
