On Friday night's "Real Time," Bill Maher came up with one word to describe the current GOP base: Promiscuous.

Echoing Jon Stewart's comments earlier this week, Maher recalled how Republicans have fallen in love with frontrunner after frontrunner, from Donald Trump to Michele Bachmann to Rick Perry, who "sounded so dumb, they're even considering voting for a black guy."

Even Chris Christie, who some conservatives wanted to join the race this week, would end up disappointing GOP voters with his pro-stances on civil unions and gun control.

"Save yourself the heartbreak," Maher kidded.

The apparent flavor-of-the-week style of the current GOP base is what brought Maher to perhaps his most poignant joke of the night -- that not even Jesus himself would make it through a few news cycles as a candidate in this election.

After a brief look at Jesus' domestic policies, try imaging him in the Tea Party!

Comedian? He's much more than that. In fact, he one of the smartest guys around. Much much smarter than the likes of you. Ad hom all you got? LOL

No....sadly, he isn't....hes just a comic and not even a good one at that....he's like Olbermann and Colbert, no talent, but repugnant left wing lies, will get you on tv.... and maybe even your own show it done with anything that can pass for humor...its the content that gives him a voice in the entertainment industry....
Hes certainly no Bill Cosby or Dan Whitney or Jeff Dunham or John Pinette....
If he didn't bash and ridicule Catholics, Conservatives and Republicans, he'd be driving Miss Daisy for a living.....

But I didn't claim he was stupid...what I claim is he is a left leaning liar, hypocrite, scumbag and some other adjectives not fit to print.....

He even has some redeeming values.....but not many.....

..Favors partial privatization of Soc. Sec.
..ending federal funding of non-profits
..legalization of gambling
..supports the death penalty
and..Since the 9/11 attacks, he has endorsed the use of racial profiling at airports.
