It isn't. That's likely why he went by train. That trip takes about a week. There is no screening at Dirty City for someone travelling by train entering the city either.

The Las Vegas shooter--remember him?--brought large cases of weapons and ammunition into a hotel, even had the staff help him move it to his room. They didn't know he was stocking an arsenal in his room.

Of course, the Left would tell us that the solution would be to expand TSA to screen train passengers like we do for air travel. More dictatorship is always the best option for the Left.
