I understand and empathize w/ arguments against the estate tax. People earn that money. It makes sense that they should be able to pass it on however they want.

However, the gap between rich & poor is eternally growing, and is at absurd levels in 2026.

The latter simply isn't sustainable.

Estate taxes tax accumulated wealth that has already been taxed.

I have friends that were partying when I was studying and paying tuition should they benefit from my estate that has already been taxed??

I get that argument, and I mentioned that.

But it's undeniable that wealth is being accumulated by a smaller & smaller portion of the country w/ each passing year. We're headed into a future w/ the vast majority of people living paycheck to paycheck, and a handful of trillionaires.

The wealthy will change states as needed, and when the Imperial Empire collapses to a certain point will reflag completely.....most of them dont give a fuck about us.

And the wealthy provide jobs for people who don't like risk.

I get that - and it's fine. But it's a separate point.

You seem to accept the idea that we'll end up w/ a handful of trillionaires, while the rest of the country is basically paycheck to paycheck. That's cool w/ you, as long as the trillionaires keep us employed?

So what?

Did you complain when the WEF posted this?

I want to talk about the work culture that we put in place in Japan that has people working 60 hour a weeks harming themselves and the culture....the place is a demographics disaster.

How many does Musk employ? between 150,000-200,000
When humans were considered possible workers who if they were employed needed to be paid enough to buy things we were far better off than now where we are somewhere between cost to be cut if possible and useless eaters.

If only some President would try to bring jobs back to the US.
