Went to Chinese buffet with the GF and her family (20+ people). I hate Chinese, but the bar also had American food. Stuffed myself.
Going to cousin's for dinner tomorrow. Probably gonna stuff myself and take a nap in the early afternoon, then to her sister's for a late supper
This is a bad time of year because I always gain about 10 lbs. When I was younger, I burned it back off, but the older I get, the harder it is to lose.
It's especially difficult when the GF has the house loaded with all kinds of Christmas candy, cookies, etc.

But how can you hate their food? Fine. I won't tell you that I made a batch of amazing chicken chow mein for lunch yesterday. lol

Chinese buffets always seem to have some stuff that isn't Asian like fried potatoes, BBQ, ;pizza, chicken nuggets, etc. Mr. Owl doesn't like the dishes with a lot of vegetables in them, but he does love beef pepper steak and Mongolian beef. Have you tried those?

They had a really nice ham, an assortment of potatoes, every kind of chicken, pizza and other stuff. I filled 3 plates and had ice cream.
I'm not big on pepper steak (heartburn) and never had Mongolian beef.
