What would Democrats do if they regained control of Congress and Presidency in 2028?

1. Stack SCOTUS and remove the bullshit "presidential immunity" ruling for ALL presidents.
2. Impeach Thomas and the other two that lied to get onto the court.
3. Get rid of Citizens United.
4. Make a law forbidding any president from dispatching the military into America's streets unless Congress votes/agrees there is an emergency.
5. Pass a law that all people entering national politics pass a competency test which would include, mental health, mental acuity, and general temperament. Neither Biden nor trump would have ever been allowed to run had this law been in place.
6. Nationalize healthcare - insurance companies have bilked us enough.
7. Gun control. Everyone turns in everything but registered handguns and hunting rifles. All gun owners need to register into a national registry and all gun purchases must undergo a 3-day waiting period. No more loopholes at gun shows. Also, start a national program where people get cash for turning in their guns.
8. No president should be able to impose impulsive tariffs. Any tariff existing or new must have congressional approval.

I'll try to think of some more, but the above is a great start.

Too funny. It has long-since been decided that the United States wants the President to defend the country from attacks immediately, not waiting around for months before permission is secured from Congress to defend the country. You have a long history of posting the stupidest shit on the internet, but this one ranks among the most stupid Ev-Ah.

The President can address issues immediately, and has 30 days to report to Congress.

5. Pass a law that all people entering national politics pass a competency test which would include, mental health, mental acuity, and general temperament. Neither Biden nor trump would have ever been allowed to run had this law been in place.
Such a law would have to be a Constitutional Amendment. That means the States would have to make that call, not Congress.

6. Nationalize healthcare - insurance companies have bilked us enough.
Fuck that. The government has bilked us enough.

7. Gun control.
Nope. Rejected summarily. The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

8. No president should be able to impose impulsive tariffs.
Rejected. The President is the country's top negotiator, and tariffs are a negotiating tool. As President Trump has shown, tariffs are a tool that, when effectively used as he has done, will make America great again. Your suggestion is noted ... and discarded.

US tariff revenue for Trump's second term thus far: $150 Billion
US tariff revenue for the same time period in 2024: $78.2 Billion

You say really stupid things.

Any tariff existing or new must have congressional approval.
Congress can alter/remove tariffs anytime they wish. Congressional approval is implicit if they don't.

I'll try to think of some more, but the above is a great start.
That's one zany list. Is it titled "How to Make America Shitty Again"?
