So the Smithsonian can’t show that slavery was bad?

Florida will lead 'revised history' as they have in their schools by teaching slavery was not as bad as many would say because “slaves developed skills...".

You know, because a slave that can cook better, build things, etc, benefits his master better and his master may appreciate it... or not.

Therefore we should not overlook those benefits.
YOU STUPID FUCKING IGNORANT RETARD!
BACK IN THE DAY, IF AN ESCAPED SLAVE MADE IT SOUTH OF ST. MARY'S RIVER, HE WAS WAS CONSIDERED A FREE MAN, ELIGIBLE FOR EMPLOYMENT AND TO BUY PROPERTY. THAT'S WHY FLORIDA HAS THE BEST BLACK AMERICANS IN THE UNITED STATES.
THEY'VE BEEN HERE SINCE BEFORE AMERICA WAS AMERICA, BITCH!
I know from from word of mouth from old people how it was. Also have friends whose families have been here for over 200 years. Black friends.
Generational 4-5-6x. :rolleyes2:
There were many black Crackers, retardo.
Peddle your racist bullshit somewhere else. Our thing is that we're all in this thing together.

What part of "the good" ended with "of slavery" other than in your own head.

This is where the problem lies. While I personally do not think that the Smithsonian has a focus on slavery to the detriment to other history as there are 21 different Smithsonian Museums and most of them have nothing to do with slavery, I fully comprehend saying "The Smithsonian focuses too much on bad things about the US to the detriment of other history" is not the same thing as saying "slavery is good". Nomad.

Here is what Trump thought about the Smithsonian just a few years back ad the museum has not changed so what do you think happened???

Trump was fawning over the museum.

"....It tells of the great struggle for freedom and equality against the sins of slavery and the injustice of discrimination..."

Donald J Trump

Give us a link to someone at the Smithsonian saying that slavery wasn't bad, from there we can begin a conversation on this from a point of fact rather than suggestive titling and what appears to be an attempt to propagandize and to assign an opinion to other people. I do not know of one person who thinks slavery is or was good, I need a link to some official saying that it was for this thread to be worth some of my attention.
Considering you already wrote a paragraph about the thread demanding your attention . . .

Enjoy.

Indeed he did. Their parents died in the New York thyroid epidemic in 1847. His brother was adopted off an orphan train in the South and he fought for the South. Weird story.
The first Orphan Train was in 1854. They went west not south. The South had too many orphans.
