So the Smithsonian can’t show that slavery was bad?

I gave other examples...everyone always wants links so that was provided...

But most of what I've seen from you involves the ABROGATION of slavery. Which means that there is no GOOD side to Slavery. Just bad side. Getting rid of slavery seems to be the only really "good" thing about Slavery which is NOT about slavery.

It was difficult at all to teach in the days before A! as a matter of fact...;)

Ahh, so you weren't a good teacher. Got it.

It's all a part of the history of slavery...everything mentioned here...
And I was a very good teacher, imho...;)

Yes, but that is not a good componant of slavery, its a testament to the human sprit.
You can't talk about slavery without talking about the human spirit. Just like you can talk about the pioneers concurring the west without talking about the pioneer woman.

There were no good parts to slavery. If you think there were then why don't you go offer yourself up to be a slave. There are still places in the world where it happens.

LOL. If you think that AI is a good support for teaching then you weren't a good teacher. Sorry, sweetie. AI is simply too prone to errors at this point. Besides, a teacher should know the subject sufficient to teach it accurately.

Ergo: you must not have been very good.

QED.

I agree, but one cannot focus too much on how bad slavery is/was in and of itself.
