Alaska has voted via mail-in ballots for years with no problems

As usual the board ditz is wrong.
First, Alaska does not have automatic Universal Vote-by-Mail voting for presidential elections.
Like all other states they of course have always had absentee ballots by request.
Anchorage does have automatic Universal Vote-by-Mail voting for municipal elections but there have been problems.
One example is that one heavily Republican precinct received no ballots mailed to the homes. The voters had to stand in line for about two hours to vote in one of only two polling places. I was one and finally gave up. The line was wrapped around the block hadn’t moved for a half hour. I gave up and didn’t vote. There were many others that did the same.
In another mayoral electron a van with unmarked ballots was caught pulling up to where the marked ballots were stored at, get this…. 2 a.m. !
Gee, what could go wrong with that?
Fortunately they were caught by the Republican candidate’s worker who was posted there watching for that very thing.
