Scientists find "strongest evidence yet" of life on distant planet. "This could be the tipping point"

Nor do I think your floor waxing certificate gives you any. What a doctorate in science does give me is a grasp of the scientific method and the ability to distinguish speculation and wishful thinking from fact and evidence.

Does the Master of Absurdity seriously believe that anyone with any commonsense believe the foolish BS that he posts??????????????

Could you give us an example of a scientific concept from logistics? I'm struggling to call it a "science" per se. Maybe if I knew what kind of science a logistics person actually does.

This is what Google AI says about your little logistics degree:

Logistics is the process of planning, organizing, and managing the flow of resources, goods, and information from one point to another, typically from origin to consumption, to meet customer needs efficiently and cost-effectively.
It encompasses all aspects of managing the movement and storage of resources, including inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and order fulfillment.

^^ I don't see anything in there relevant to biology, chemistry, physics, genetics, geology, or astronomy.

It sounds like you are an inventory and warehouse manager, i.e. not the type to have any special insight into exobiology.

And the derping commences - did I call it or what.

But then, it's all you're capable of, derpy.

That and shoving crayons all the way up your nose..

I have to hand it to you, you are more subtle in your ad hominem attacks than your clumsy and doltish comrades.

I have to hand it to you, you are more subtle in your ad hominem attacks than your clumsy and doltish comrades.

I'm genuinely curious. If you can't explain how your logistics background is a science then that's cool. But then you are the expert so you can convince me if you like.

Or you can dodge the question like this. That's answer enough.

Also I did not make any ad hominem. You seem to be confused as to what an argumentum ad hominem actually is. Let me explain it to you.

If we are debating a point about the value of "x" and you say "But x = 3.5" and I say "Yeah but you cheat on your taxes so we can assume you are lying" that's an ad hominem. It isn't just an insult it is a means by which I negate your point by making it about you personally rather than discussing the actual point.

Right now we are discussing your claim to being a logistic scientist and I merely asked how it is a "science". That isn't even an insult, that isn't an ad hominem either.

Ad hominems are NOT simply insults.

I would call it a fair assessment. Enterprise Resource Planning - production planning and scheduling, capability to promise to sales and engineering.

^^ I don't see anything in there relevant to biology, chemistry, physics, genetics, geology, or astronomy.

And? I never claimed to be a physicist.

It sounds like you are an inventory and warehouse manager, i.e. not the type to have any special insight into exobiology.

Yes, but you are a poorly educated cretin who can't distinguish science from science fiction.

Tell me comrade, what institution awarded you your exobiology degree? Star Wars U?

So you don't know anything about chemistry either? Chemistry utilizes spectra data literally all the time. There are entire branches of analytical chemistry related to spectroscopy.

Obviously you don't - you claimed it was "exobiology."

Can you name the top 10 universities offering a doctoral program in "exobiology?"

Perhaps Starfleet Academy?

So I take it you are not going to explain how logistics is a science per se.

I'm so sorry your degree didn't prepare you better to explain it.

I spent the time explaining in my first reply you request. Reread it.

I never claimed to have a degree in exobiology.

It's to your credit if you are genuinely interested in planetary science. Most MAGAs seem to be deep into science denial particularly when it comes to vaccines, climate, global warming.

No you didn't. You congratulated me on being subtle and then you mistakenly accused me of an ad hominem.

If you would like some help I might be able to provide you with a talking point or two. You know to support the claim that logistics is a scientific discipline.

Let me know if you need some help.
