Nope. It's completely relevant. Harris is STILL calling for another debate. FOX and CNN are STILL trying to set up debates and town halls between the two front-runner candidates. It's just as relevant now as it was then.

What is a thought-terminating cliche?

Demagogues use them a lot, to manipulate their flock.

They are designed to curb, limit critical thinking and curb dissent, and if possible, kill both entirely.

You see, Demagogues like Trump don't like it when his flock thinks critically, because if they do, they will soon figure out that he is a con man, a criminal, a fraudster and sex abuser, since the hard data and facts point inescapably to these conclusions. But a mind full of TTCs will fog the landscape, make them much harder to see.
