It's a political message board not a mission field. His comments are apropos' to many of the discussions on the Christian doctrine as well as the attacks.

His message was nonsense. He started by labelling all liberals as atheists. They are not and never have been. So his comments are demeaning to all christians. He denies the existence of a large portion of those who believe in God, and has (apparently) decided that only those who follow his politics can possibly be christians.

For the record, I haven't presumed to tell anyone anything here. I simply stated an observation and opinion. If you disagree, that is fine, it's a free country.

For the sake of posterity, may I recall your professed Christianity the next time you join in the bashfests against Religion? That's okay, you don't have to answer, I know I can, because Christians are always proud to display their Christianity when it comes to defending the right to life or freedom of religious expression, so of course you'll be okay with me reminding you of that.

On the other hand, if science directly contradicts something a liberal believes in, they will immediately point out that science is inconclusive and doesn't "prove" things. So, they have established science as a "catch all" for liberal ideology... If it can support a liberal view, it's empirical and can't be challenged or questioned, if it contradicts a liberal view, it can't be proven and hasn't been established as fact.

The most clear recent example of both sides, is the current Global Warming scam. When the "science" seemed to support their idea of global warming, they were constantly using things (like Katrina) to make their case, and insisting science completely supported their liberal viewpoint, and couldn't be questioned. Once the scam was uncovered and we came to realize the data was manipulated and fraud was perpetrated, and the "science" no longer supported their agenda, the whole argument changed! Now, science is not conclusive, we can't rely on this scientific data, it's merely a representation, nothing to hang our hats on at all! People are laughed at for pointing out blizzards and snow storms, record low temperatures, as indicators global warming doesn't exist. When they are busy making fun of "knuckledraggers" who mock their stupidity over single climatic events, they have conveniently forgotten how much emphasis they placed on global warming during Katrina. We can literally see them going from a "Science is Everything" to "Science means Nothing" position, within a matter of a couple of years.

I don't really have a problem with Liberal Atheists practicing religious faith in something, but we have allowed these people to infiltrate our public education system, and they are proselytizing to our children, indoctrinating them into their Church of Liberal Science. We need to separate Church from State, when it comes to these fanatics.

I have never bashed religion. I have bashed fundamentalists who demand that their faith be the official faith. I have bashed people who seem to think their religious beliefs give them a pass to defy the US Constitution. And I have bashed people who use their religious beliefs to bash others.

Yes, by all means remember my christian beliefs. I have never posted anything that resembles your claim that I join in a "bashfest against Religion".

Just for the record, and the sake of posterity, haven't you repeatedly denied being a christian when you claimed you were not a christian but were spiritual? Perhaps I am remembering it wrong, Brother Dixie?

I don't recall him proclaiming Christianity anywhere in his post. Or any specific religion for that matter.

EDIT: I stand corrected, he did mention Christianity.

Let's review...

Liberals are in favor of abortion... the murdering of innocent human life.
Liberals are in favor of restricting religious exercise... any chance they get.
Liberals are in favor of gay marriage... a mockery of religious custom and tradition.
Liberals are in favor of removing God from government... vehemently.

These are all contradictory of religious beliefs and atheistic. Just as a lot of Atheists are believers in God, a lot of so-called believers are Atheistic. Professing what you believe is not always truthfully what you believe, sometimes it is what you would like people to THINK you believe, for a variety of reasons. This is problematic because we can't know what is legitimately in your heart and what you are lying about. So we have to go by your actions, and liberals almost across the board, support an anti-religious atheistic agenda.


I stand by every word I posted, and it's poignancy is so profound, it is literally making you liberal godless nitwits sing praises to Jesus! I really never expected that response, but I must say, it is amusing as hell to me!

I believe in god, but clearly, I don't believe in the same god you believe in, or the same religion.

But, that doesn't cut it with you. As you have demonstrated time & again, everyone must believe YOUR religion, or there is no respect or tolerance for their beliefs.

It actually couldn't get more hypocritical for you, when you juxtapose that against your original post.

Nah - you didn't like it. You stalked me to this thread, to try to make some "point" & do your usual chest-thumping thing.

However, you fail to point out that I was in an actual discussion with Dixie, whereas your post on the other thread was a complete drive-by (and showed it).

Like I said; put in the time to read before you post. It would be better for you, and you wouldn't have to come in afterwards & beg people to do your homework for you.
