College Football is back!

I’m excited about the season. Hoping my team can take a step or two forward after taking several steps back.

But I just love football. I watched all day Saturday, after church on Sunday and Monday night. Looking forward to doing it again next week.

Well, I was impressed with Deione Sanders debut as head coach of the Colorado Buffalo's, BUT THEN CAME THE PRESS CONFERENCE.

My first thought, MAYBE HE MATURED AFTER ALL THESE YEARS!

But NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Deione is still the same old asshole- SLIME TIME!

Now I just want to see the Nebraska Cornholer's tear him a whole new asshole Saturday!

Colorado U and Coach Sanders will get torn up. I just wouldn't count on Nebraska to do it.

But it won’t stop me from rooting for the Huskers this weekend. I was all about rooting for Colorado last Saturday. Switched from the OU/AR St blowout at halftime to watch CU/TCU and root for Prime Time’s crew. Was happy Colorado won. But the aftermath has just been too much. Go Huskers!!!

Both LSU and Clemson flamed out in spectacular fashion. Not sure either will recover.

You can add Alabama and Texas A&M to that club.
I haven’t seen the SEC looking this bad at the start in a long time.
Texas flat out won in the trenches… on both sides of the ball.

Texas beat us. There is no other way to say it. Sark is a genius. Their defensive line is a monster. And Manning can sit out the year if their QB can do what he did tonight.

With all of the shifting around in every division, and with the new blood and competition, I think it is gonna be tougher now, in just about every division, for the same old teams, that used to dominate, to win out.

You'll start to seeing even the best teams loose at least 1 or even 2 games! And I also believe you'll start seeing even the worst teams start to win more in these divisions as they learn their prey!

Alabama is still a damn good football team, but Texas improved a little better over last year, more so than Alabama. Alabama is far from being in trouble.

Texas basically had to rebuild their team to beat Alabama, and not just Oklahoma like the mode they used to be in.

Texas 2nd true test will be their old rivalry- Oklahoma- who wants some serious revenge after getting their asses beat by Texas so convincingly last year!

The Red River trophy don't stay in one house very long, as that thing goes back-n-forth just about every year.

There’s more parity now for sure. I like it!
Clemson getting creamed by… DUKE !?!? :whoa:

Yes, Duke has been propagating some very good Quarterbacks here of late.

The honorable mentioned Daniel Jones just don't have the receiving core he needs to win right now.

The Giants ever figure this out, they will be back in the hunt. I mean they did manage to make it to the playoffs just last year.

But yes, GO DUKE give em' hell!

More likely other schools now have the luxury of buying players as Sabin has done for years, as he accused Fisher of doing

I didn’t hear about that but looked it up on YouTube.
Wow! Saban really really fucked up singling out A&M.
He’s normally more guarded than that.
That said, I think he’s a short timer. Bought a $19M house in Jupiter, FL. THAT’s his little vacation home?

Boston College almost lost to former arch rival Holy Cross, now an FBS team,
and not even a serious FBS team--a non-scholarship FBS team.

The Crusaders are practically club football now,
but they just missed knocking off the hapless Eagles.

College football doesn't get much coverage around these parts,
and the way the Patriots look,
I don't expect to see or hear too much about those motherfuckers, either.

The Red Sox, however, fired feckless GM Chaim Bloom, thanks be to Christ Almighty.
Maybe we'll at least have a summer next year.
That's more important to me [if, of course, I'm still here next summer].

You'll be here but wait a minute they're still the Crusaders?? How is that possible they just made our Crusaders here change their name... because well you know...

Tough for BC to recruit, too many standards, and college football in New England has remained regional, of which BC doesn’t have any real rivals
