Imagine that view of the law. One where Trump could have walked up and killed Biden live on air before Biden could beat in the 2020 election and then just pardon himself and keep running untouchable.

And while some would say 'he would never do that', the point is the law would allow that to be done if the view of a POTUS pardoning himself was supported.

He could break any Federal law to try and hold power after losing an election. Give the military illegal orders to seize equipment, etc, and if it works great, and if it does not work and he has to hand over power, just pardon himself first.

The type of farce i think only Thomas would support.
