In fairness, Owl, while an AR-15's sole purpose is, quite obviously, to kill human beings, that would not apply to all firearms, even though they're nonetheless capable of killing human beings.

Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness are not in the Constitution. Sadly. So, basically, gun nuts have more protection for their hobby than people have a right to go to school or church without running the risk of death by gunshot.

America has clearly stated it's preference: guns over human lives. We value our weapons more than our children. We willingly sacrifice our children to the Molech of Guns in our nation.

Hmmm, that's an interesting idea. Wouldn' that require gun owners all be tracked and registered and anytime they visit a mental health provider the government swoops in and confiscates the guns?

That's a pretty obvious observation there, Nifty.

Why do people in a self-declared free and peaceful country need to have military-style weapons whose sole function is to kill human beings? Remember when they were banned? How many mass shootings did we have during that time? Was it as frequent an occurrence as now? Why didn't the government take us over and make us slaves (the idiot gun-humpers excuse for having them now) when they were banned?
