An ex-Marine was planning a mass murder and rape spree he hoped would “decrease the number of minority residents” and “increase the production of white children” in America, according to Rolling Stone. Matthew Belanger, a member of a neo-Nazi organization called Rapekrieg, was arrested June 10 on federal firearms charges related to so-called straw purchases of an assault-style rifle and a handgun. A detention memo filed by prosecutors in Honolulu federal court said Belanger was aiming to bring down the “Zionist Order of Governments.” He was in the Marine Corps from 2019 through May 2021, when he was given an Other Than Honorable Discharge. Investigators who searched Belanger’s barracks said in court filings that they found “1,950 images, videos and documents related to white power groups, Nazi literature, brutality towards the Jewish community, brutality towards women, rape, [and] mass murderers,” including convicted domestic terrorist Dylan Roof.

A Marine veteran is in federal custody and facing several gun charges after he allegedly solicited an unnamed police officer as a strawman buyer for an assault rifle and pistol.

That effort came while the veteran was still serving, with court records also alleging that the Marine was a leading member of a neo-Nazi group known as "Rapekrieg" whose idealogy focused on the conviction that rape would be "an extremely effective tool against our many foes."

It feels like there are more of these crazies than there should be. Any society has some crazies. When there are too many crazies, it is a sick society.

I am not saying all trump supporters are like him. The vast majority know he is a crazy, but he is still in the spectrum of trump supporters, and there is a real chance that trump will be the next president. Also on the trump spectrum are people on this forum who call for all FBI agents to be executed.

Or put another way, I do not know who the lead open Neo-Nazi is today, but whoever he is, he has crazy followers who plan all sorts of crazy things. I can sleep well at night, knowing that whoever the leader of the open Neo-Nazis is, he has zero chance of being the next president.

Agreed on sick society. The allegory is that if a cut becomes infected and left unattended, it will likely get worse. The same problems plaguing the nation since the 70s continue to exist today with only incremental improvement and increased authoritarianism to remove rights.

Most JPP Trumpers talk a lot but will never do anything because it would be the end of them...and they are too fat, drunk and stupid to want going outside.

Still, as the OP points out, the crazies exist who will feel emboldened by the heated rhetoric encouraging violence coming from social media like JPP homesitters.

People used to just get jobs. If it was not the job they wanted, they would try to get a better job. These days, a lot of people only want the best jobs, but refuse to work to get it.

Some people I feel bad telling that to. For instance, I feel bad telling a veteran that after all his sacrifice, he has to work hard to get anywhere in life. Luckily, some veterans get that is just life. I have a good friend who lost a leg in Iraq, then worked as a short order chef while going to Rutgers, and now is working hard as a computer programmer. Can you imagine being a short order chef with only one leg? (He had a prosthetic leg, but I am not counting that as a leg).

Then I see these other people who did not go to college, and refuse to get jobs, complaining there are no good jobs out there.
