Trump asked to find fraud.
We’ve known this for well over a year. And now he’s going to jail ? What law exactly was broken?

They provided evidence that a reasonable person in Trumps position would know he lost.
They provided evidence that despite that Trump made efforts to get people to lie about the result.
They provided evidence that Trump, despite having lost, made an attempt to stay in power.
They provided evidence that Trump encouraged a disruption of the certification of votes.
They Provided evidence that Trump tried to put together a slate of electors that would lie and say he won their respective states.
They Provided evidence that despite having the power to do so, Trump refused to stop the violence for several hours.

That adds up to several Federal Crimes. And it was only the first of 5 presentations.

We already know what Cheney is going to say, we've heard it before, we've been talking about it the last 1.5 years. Pretending that this committee is "bi-partisan" when appointees were rejected for having a different opinion than the Speaker is just pretense. We get that lawyers pretty much have to do that for a living and that is why so many of our politicians are lawyers (practiced at pretending they are), we also get that you can't trust them to ever tell you the truth, as "ethics" have a different meaning and context to lawyers.
