The nation officially marks the somber realization that one million Americans have been lost to COVID.

Flags were set to half mast to honor those we have lost.

A look at the numbers gives us perhaps a hint as to why there are so many people who are trying to pretend that COVID is not serious.

Over a million Americans have died from COVID, yes, but more than 81 million Americans have gotten the disease and recovered from it.

For those people who do not watch reliable news programming or spend any time at all checking out news stories for themselves to decide what is real, for those people who get most of their information from word of mouth, social media, or rumors, they are far more likely to know someone who has recovered from the disease than to know someone who died from it.

Their conclusion? 'Oh, it's not that bad.'

One out of 327 Americans has died from COVID.

But how many people even know 327 other people personally?

Odds are that most people do not even know anyone who has died from COVID.

So they go on rumors and think it's not so bad.

The fools.

I love how the "experts" are claiming that there will be a huge problem in about 6 months, when they have over two years been wrong about almost everything....or lying.

The Meme Moron is on a roll. For the sake of the data thread I'd personally request that the asshole is thread-banned in retrospect. He's only an opinion-less conduit for trash from an external site anyway.
Let him start his own pro-infection thread.
