Ukraine has morale and commitment on it's side.

It took Josef Stalin seven years to put down a Ukrainian nationalist insurgency after WW2 ended.

I am not going to sugar coat that some Ukrainians collaborated with the Nazis, just like some French, Dutch, and Czechs did. But there is a long history of proud nationalism in Ukraine which Putin may have underestimated.

You seem very negative.
Try to think of this as a time to make Russia the pariah of the world. Putin is breaking every norm since the Cold War. Putin may be committing political suicide.

I like to be realistic. Being unrealistic causes people to be killed needlessly. I do not think the world needs more death. I know that idea is foreign to the left wing mind as they OPENLY CHEERED the death of the un jabbed but not all people think that way.

Didn't work so well for North Vietnam 50,000 American body bags, and 8 years of fighting. I'm afraid Ukraine can't hold out that long.

It doesnt matter if they are Romanian, or German, or American,....an attack against one NATO member is considered an attack against all......and an attack by one NATO member is to be considered an attack by them all.

Realistic? Realistic is seeing what is unfolding before your eyes. Two Slavic Brothers. The 'Big Brother' stabbing the 'Little Brother'. Creating a Departure from Russia.

This may end up as a 'West Ukraine' and a 'East Ukraine'. Maybe along the Dnieper River? Maybe further west?
