Do not overlook the fact that the nursing home population is being constantly replenished; as individuals reach end of life, others normally do become relegated to that existence every day. It must be an especially daunting decision for a family to make during the pandemic, whether or not to accept the nursing home option, fully knowing the added pandemic risk because of all the heartless ones out there who are not taking every precaution as seriously as they could.

We can only wonder how many of those American lives would have been saved if we had had responsible leadership back in the beginning when the biggest difference could have been made.

Gotta hand it to him how he favors them and still gets support from those who march with tiki torches chanting: "Jews will not replace us." He's just got this Evlis-like magnetism which, once caught in it, his throngs are like deer in the headlights. They've already been run over and they don't even know it.

We would have saved 300,000 lives conservatively speaking. And it is still a problem. Trump's misinformation
is causing people not to wear masks in circumstances where it would save lives if they did. (close quarters with unvaccinated and not socially distancing)

I know it.

It's just *SO* irresponsible.

HE survived it, so he doesn't CARE.

I liked the one story about how the long term effects of COVID are still being studied and learned. There was at least one case of a former COVID patient who has made an apparent recovery, but then lapsed into mental confusion after clearly losing an election by 7 million votes, yet believes he won.
