they can feel betrayed all they want. trump never called for violence.

there almost certainly is a very small segment of totally deluded trump supporters. they are true believers. I visit thedonald.win everyday (the largest donald trump forum) and there are people there that literally believe like in full blown conspiracy theories and trump might still swoop in the last week and somehow keep the whitehouse. They are mentally ill.

an online poll is not a representative sample. It's going to result in people trolling and multi-voting. Boomers (one of trumps biggest elements of his base) don't vote in online polls).

There were a lot of numbers in that poll and, as you well know, polls are snapshots in time. Next week it could be 10%, especially if a Trump-fan McVeigh-type drives his Trump-flag flying Ford F350 through the front door of a state capitol and detonates.

Agreed about online polls. The link doesn't show Luntz's methodology which usually means "man in the street" which is about as accurate as online polls for the same reason: voluntary participation.

Trump brought us to the brink. He was hardly a "uniter." Even his most hardcore faithful would admit that.

What's the problem w/ Democrats? The '90's were awesome. Then Bush crashed the economy, and the Obama years were relatively good.

Dems get a bad rap. They've done better than Republicans in modern times. Biden will, too.
 
I'll tell you exactly how this is going to go down: I won't have anything to do with it, but when they propose some ridiculous unConstitutional bill? All of a sudden those that proposed it are going to be found hanging from a lamp post or in a ditch tarred and feathered on the edge of town.

A lot of people are predicting doom. But that happens when any new Prez is elected, Dem or Republican.

I'd only urge people to keep an open mind, and allow for the possibility that things could be good or even great. This is still America. We ARE great, and resilient.

That we are, even against an unconstitutional and communist government that's trying to saddle future generations with tons of debt instead of being fiscally responsible.
Americans can handle that, it may mean some blood-shedding.
I appreciate your optimism, but do not share it.
