Oh, so I'm no hero for being an engineer / electrician that volunteered for military service in peacetime, served in three wars but never saw combat, even as I drew combat pay, because my job was doing stuff like making sure security barracks were built right to withstand a truck bombing or supervising people putting cell phone jammers in tactical vehicles so they wouldn't be destroyed and their crews killed in an IED explosion? Or, standing watch on some ship far out to sea and making sure its electrical system worked 24/7?

I guess I'm no hero for figuring out a way to save the military millions of dollars on things like a cheaper way to make the ADU 801E SLAM ER adapter bracket for the Aero 58A trailer either, among other projects I worked on...

Eastwood served and he did what he was ordered to do. Have you even been there, done that?
