The number of serious/critical in the hospital needs to start going up soon if the alarmed are going to have a leg to stand on. If the number does not then we have proof that the bug is becoming less lethal.
 
Wow, almost 50,000 new cases on Friday.

One day.

Bars had to be closed down in Texas and Florida.

It got out of control.

Young adults were blowing off the CDC guidelines. There were no mask requirements for patrons, so they pretended the pandemic was gone.

Wrong!

We opened up too soon, and did not require the needed new rules.

It's simple, really.

Just remember the three W;s:

Wear a mask.

Wash your hands.

Watch your distance.

Should be simple for everyone to grasp.
 
The disaster is so simple. We are 4 percent of the world population and have almost a third of the Corona cases and deaths. That is an absolute failure caused by mismanagement.

Earl, DT is taking himself down by his incompetence and corruptness.
 
Young adults are not immune to COVID-19.

20% of people who get sick with the virus will become very sick. No matter what age.

Some young adults are dying from it.

Partying is fun but it is not worth risking your life over.

We have to turn attitudes around.

We need proactive leadership to set the proper example.

And then there is the very real consideration that so many people become infected and they don't know it.

They can be only mildly symptomatic or show no symptoms at all, but they are carriers of the disease and they can infect others.

If they go visit older relatives or interface with anybody older they can transmit the disease to the older person, who might be hit much harder with it and even die.

Such carelessness must absolutely be curtailed and ended.

And we can do this. It won't be forever. We just need to buy some time.

We have already gone 6 months with this thing. We need to make it until next year when hopefully there will be a vaccine.

This is war.

We didn't ask for it but we must surely fight it.

It's the humans against the bug.

Other countries are doing a good job.

That is what we need to do.

Wear a mask

The source of the virus from China is China. They lied about the source and their number of fatalities. They would not share data with our health professionals that might have mitigated their virus from China. They nailed shut the doors of those with the virus from China They did not stop flights out of China and the virus from China spread around the world.

China must be held accountable for the hundreds of thousands of deaths and the economic loss around the world.

Count on the far left loon apologists to defend China and falsely blame it on our great president whose closure of flights from China saved countless lives.

The president is following the advice of the health professionals and the states are opening their economies following the guidelines.

You might want to listen to some other source than Sean Hannity or Tucker Carlson because that's not true. In fact, it's a lie being passed by the Trump Disinformation System.

Agreed. Trump is his own worst enemy. The "White Power!" (twice!) Tweet is just one example of how big a fuck up Trump has turned out to be as President.

Thanks for the derail. Why didn't you comment about my post instead of taking everyone on this little trip into weeds? Do you still think COVID-19 is a fake virus? A bioweapon developed by the Chinese and released upon the US?

For China to have more fatalities than the USA, they would have to be covering up 96% of their deaths. There would have to be overflowing hospitals that no one knows about. It really could not be happening.

The source of viruses goes back to before humans existed, so could not be China. China appears to be where Covid-19 crossed over into the human population, but its source is somewhere in prehistory.

trump has failed. It is time to accept that and move on.
