Yes, it does. DUH. If someone tests positive and is asymptomatic they can be quarantined before infecting anyone else. Would little pictures help you understand some of these points a little better? Or maybe I could explain it using 'Dick and Jane' characters. Maybe that would help?

why should I worry about a virus where 98% of people who get it are asymptomatic or have mild symptoms?

Do you get tested for the common cold?

have you gotten your chines virus test yet? You seem to be very frightened of it
