Paranoia. If there is a problem immediately blame the media and call it a hoax.
Meanwhile, you're being an idiot, spewing strawman claims, continually ignoring the facts, missing the point and bloviating incoherently.

Paranoia. If there is a problem immediately blame the media and call it a hoax.
It is a universal political tactic going back centuries.
They’re amongst the few that try and keep it in perspective.
Can you give an example of those taking it out of perspective other than those calling it a hoax? As I posted earlier the media had many more stories about swine flu or h1n1 than corona.
Numbers have truly exploded and the have left '61' in the dust.
Pretty sure H1N1 was front-page news at the time.
No way !! Not a peep !
If the news networks had jumped on it like they have done now ...... it would hurt Obama’s feelings! That would never happen !
I work in healthcare and I vaguely remember the H1N1 outbreak.

The issue is the *lack of* perspective.
The COVID epidemic is just the latest in a series of them in the past decade plus. I can’t think of a single reason why it shouldn’t be compared to the others.
Rahm Emanuel: "You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. And what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before."
By the way, you're backslapping the biggest, lying, leftist asshole on the forum.![]()
Of course not ... not a peep out of the media .
Why does Trump need to deflect? Did he cause this calamity? Why does the media need to make it seem like Trump isn't doing far more than his predecessors did in far less time when they confronted similar epidemics? Why do leftist have to lie and take Fauci's comments out of context to promote a false narrative intended to instill fear in the American people?
And they have a ways to go.
Time for another prediction?
If you worked in healthcare you would have known that there existed a vaccine, a large number of the population had an immunity gained from prior similar virus strains, and it wasn't a total mystery, all features not present with the COVID-19
Like comparing apples and oranges

You must feel dumb. This thread should be a sticky recording the coffins pile up at your door.
