Not sure who you know or do not know...but LOTS of people were disturbed by the events we are speaking of here. Several of the Democratic Party candidates were. Both the New York Times and the Washington Post had articles and columns indicating all sorts of disturbances in the force.

Most of the time, I am. There are times when factors driving a gain in the market can turn me off. An impending pandemic can do marvels for drug companies...which in turn can drive up other stocks...but I am not happy when the market goes up because of pandemic prospects.

There's some buzz here (very liberal/Democrat city) but I don't pay much attention to that unless it impacts me personally...and it doesn't....Life is too short, and I'm really busy...
When the market goes up, so does my 401 ...so yes, increased "wealth" makes me happy...I don't care why...
