Top US doctor says coronavirus now an ‘outbreak,’ possibly a ‘pandemic’

I'll bet you haven't even donated a dollar, have you Frank?

I live below the poverty level, RB, and I just do not have the resources to make donations for things like this. So you are correct, I have not.

But I also have not...as you have...suggested that I live in an environment where contagion is less a risk than it is for the people who live in more populated areas. In other words, I am NOT of the "I am relatively safe...fuck everyone else" mentality.

And...the fact is that to a guy who supposedly is worth more than $3 BILLION...a donation of $100,000...is like a donation of about $30 to a person worth $1 MILLION dollars...or a donation of $3 to a person worth $100,000.

Okay...so maybe a donation of that HUGE amount impresses you, because it is being done by your Dear Leader.

Meh!

Well, he could release his taxes and prove it. It’s that simple.

Or, he doesn't because he doesn't have to, imbecile. It's that simple.

It's funny watching the haters claiming he's not really a billionaire and then claiming that a $100,000 donation is no big deal because he is a billionaire.

One hundred thousand...to a BILLIONAIRE...is like you donating a dollar.

Jesus H. Christ, EE...do you really operate this blindly?

That 100K is not his only charitable donation, Frank. He donates hundreds of thousands of his salary back to the upkeep of veterans’ gravesites.

I’m certain that he gives more than his share to charity.

Are you really living below the poverty level? I thought that you worked on Wall Street in the past.

He donates his entire salary, and has since he was elected.

He was a bartender, supposedly. Like AOC.

Campaigning or not I don't see any of your left wing idols doing anything.

The data bears that out, EE. To a liberal, charity means demanding that the government pay for everything while they brag about how compassionate they are.

I did work on Wall Street...for just a couple of years back in the early 1970's. It was a blast...and I enjoyed it. Made decent money...and pissed it away. I've had at least 50 different jobs in my life...and quit at the drop of a hat. I got almost every job I ever applied for...so I figured it was no big deal to quit one on a whim...or to play golf.

I was wrong...and I am living below the poverty level. (I make do, but I am very, very selective about any charity contributions.)

Meh!

Then you need to STFU about others doing it.

Liberal compassion can be described as seeing how much of someone else's money they can get the government to spend.

Good.

But you demand that the government take other people's money and give it to illegal immigrants and people who won't work so you can boast about how compassionate you are, right?

Frank, and those like Frank, should be the last ones telling someone else how much they should give.

A bartender on Wall Street.

Go figure.

So...you think a person who has worked on Wall Street...would never become a bartender???

I've managed two places...one a shot and a beer joint and the other a fairly active club with big bands and very large crowds. I also was the head instructor (with 10 or more instructors working for me) at the largest Bartenders School in the world in NYC. There was a day when I knew well over a hundred bartenders in the Big Apple...and they knew me by name...and knew what to serve if I asked for "my usual."
