The fact that there are 11-50 million illegals (non-citizens) in the US already affirms that more walls are needed.

My wife is a well educated German , speaks better English than most Americans yet we had to go thru an interview process with INS showing photos of when we dated, written letters to each other, receipts from dates,she had to get all kind of shots, show she was disease free, and not be a burden to society. This is an excellent example of the flaws in the system. Why do people like your wife have to jump through hoops and spend all that time and money to become citizens? Mott had to go through this with his wife also. These problems aren't going to be changed by a barrier.

They have to jump through OUR hoops because we only want those who merit immigration and will help our country.

Cost of illegal immigration to American taxpayers-OAN-33 billion dollars, year to date.

One dollar spent on illegals is one dollar too much. Why should we give money to illegals that violate our laws to come here. Legal immigration based on merit, no chain migration and no more illegals (non-citizens).

It shouldn't take many years and thousands of dollars to determine somebody's merit. You have to live here legally for five years before you can even apply.

I proposed a solution. Let illegals stay, give them a green card , they pay into SS but never ever receive any benefits from it. The dreamers can stay. It's a win -win for everyone.

And we have set the immigration requirements very low as is. That's why america has far more legal immigration than any other country in the world!!! And yet the illegals can't even meet these low standards.!! They are all welfare trash and criminals.
