Her story falls apart in so many ways

1) if she really was a diver and practiced as she said she would have had some sort of routine

2) there is no way she wouldn’t have remembered who saved her from a sexual assault

3) whoever drove her home that night should have come forward “oh yeah I remember picking her up one summer night at a strangers house and she looked really upset”

This was a carefully crafted story with her FBI buddy that had enough detail to make him look guilty but enough holes to keep her from being pinned down. Who better than an FBI lawyer to help craft the story and also help scrub her from the internet along with her Googler tenants

I said you haven’t once criticized a lefty here for accusing Kavanaugh of rape. Name one person you have called out. Not fucking generalities but specifically called out by name. That is how you will prove to me you are what you claim.

that's a false dichotomy. every witness corroborates kavanaugh, not ford. nearly every woman in kavanaughs life has defended him emphatically. law clerks, interns, coworkers. if he was a lecherous individual as the democrats described others would not have defended him so adamantly. he's been in public service for more than 30 years. when the ABA rated him well qualified they interviewed almost 500 people, a large group of that being women on his character and everyone vouched for him absolutely and completely.

Ford on the other hand doesn't even have the support of her own family. Her story doesn't add up. She keeps changing things over and over. The person presumably that drove her away from the party (she was 15 and 9 miles from the alleged house), has never come foward to corroborate her story. She is not credible in any way.

BTW let me tick off some lies she told

1) she lied about being afraid to fly
2) she lied about the infamous second door. It was put in in 2008 to accommodate a business being run out of a rental property. It wasn’t even done on her main residence.
3) she lied about never coaching someone in a polygraph.

I definitely have, and have posted many times that this issue was a loser for Dems. I've posted plenty that the time to win these confirmations is when elections come around, and that votes should be based on qualifications & not ideology. And I've posted many times that Kav 100% should be confirmed.

And you keep trying to claim I'm some kind of lefty hack. It's really sort of wishful thinking, more than anything.

That characterization itself is a lie. You make it sound like every witness backs up his version - in fact, they really corroborate neither, because most people simply can't remember what happened over 35 years ago.

One of the most amazing things about this entire story is the woeful understanding that people have of trauma memories. When someone goes through this kind of experience, their brain is taken over by fear & panic - and those things inform the memories, as opposed to analytical, normal thinking. The latter doesn't last for 35 years for the most part - the things we remember from that long ago are based more on emotion in general.

And it's why she may remember it, but no one else does. Fear/panic memories leave a much bigger imprint - but they also tend to be more fragmented and incomplete. Some of the memories can be incredibly random - she may forget everything she said she forgot, and remember the color of someone's shirt, or a song that played afterwards. People who question why she didn't remember the date, time, people at the party, house, etc. are really shooting from the hip - they're assuming that trauma memories are exactly like normal memories.

What a total lie & misunderstanding this post is. No, it wasn't a "bust" - no one else could remember, which isn't surprising given the length of time.

And you're smarter than that last part. Many alleged victims never tell anyone - parents, friends, spouses, etc. Many do, but there are a significant number who work hard to suppress the memory and tell no one.
