Amazing, we now have a serious rival to the Wiki Of the West.
Did anyone piss on him?
Should have.
Amazing, we now have a serious rival to Desh, the Wiki Of the West.
Shouldn't you be in South Africa attacking white farmers?
Tar Heels' stuck in racist history
Depending upon the source, the name is attributed to Confederate soldiers from North Carolina belittling those from Virginia (they need tar on their heels to make them stand and fight), or as a reference to North Carolina troops' courage (they stand as though they had tar on their heels).
Either way, "Tar Heels" is a symbol of North Carolina being in the Confederacy. You know, the Confederacy, that bastion of slavery, that most profound manifestation of racism.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Protesters on Monday night toppled the controversial "Silent Sam" statue on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
More than 300 protesters first gathered at the Peace and Justice Plaza at about 7 p.m., before marching to the base of the statue, calling for its removal. By 9:30 p.m., the statue was on the ground and the crowd erupted in cheers.
"Silent Sam" had been standing on the UNC campus since 1913.

Don't be surprised to see a spike in tuition in UNC next year. Their legislature is controlled by conservatives.
EXPECT a few less "tar heels" this year when they get done with the investigation....I suspect you're correct. The Republicans continue to give people reasons to leave the South

?Louisiana is losing population to the United States.
That sounds as stupid as some of the stuff Angela Davis told us in class a long time ago. No, the mechanisms were recent, not 105 years old. No, this was vandalism, the destruction of public property. As a nation, we owe these criminals a trip through the justice system. Yes, you are an accessory after the fact trying to defend a crime. The "mechanisms" were 105 years too late in coming. This was not vandalism this was the opposite of vandalism.
These brave heroes took the bull by the horns and reversed 105 years of the foot dragging racist agenda.
As a nation we all owe them a debt of gratitude for being so brave.
The Four Olds or the Four Old Things (simplified Chinese: 四旧; traditional Chinese: 四舊; pinyin: sì jiù) was a term used during the Cultural Revolution of 1966–76 in the People's Republic of China to refer to elements of Chinese culture and thinking that proponents of the Cultural Revolution felt needed to be eradicated
Hopefully the video provides enough evidence to prosecute the vandals that did this.
