I actually cannot recall the last time I saw someone show ID when buying groceries. I'm not saying it never happens. I just literally cannot recall seeing it in the last decade.

I wonder what it feels like to a Trump boot-licker to have to defend his lies, day in and day out.
It would poison my soul to have to continually defend lies. But, then again, I am not familiar with the black hearted soul of movement conservatism.

The reason they don't is the same reason they do not need voter ID. You have to qualify and go through an approval process to get a food card. Same for getting a voter card(ID). If you have a voter ID and your name is on the poll list, you can vote. Food stamps have different qualifications determined by each state. But you do require qualifying and getting approval.
