"Trump claims picture ID is required to buy groceries"

Just stop.

Trump has never purchased groceries in his life, and he was wrong when he said this. Trust me - it's easy to admit this. You don't have to defend every single thing.

I love how out of the entire speech, moron libs find one tiny thing and act like it matters at all.

They actually alter their reality to make whatever crazy thing Trump says that day, it is suddenly real, to them. I don't think I have ever Godwin'ed a thread before, but I wonder was percent of Germany believed every word Hitler said, no matter what they actually knew or seen.
It's a mindbender reading these posts and actually see Trumpkins attempting to rationalize Trump saying people need a photo ID to buy groceries

How blind to their own partisanship can a person be?

I am sure that is not the only stupid thing he said, just the most stupid. I have to stop on my way to work to pick up coffee, I will gather up my 3 forms of ID and leave early cause they might fingerprint me. God what goof balls.

blind enough to start this thread and not be embarrassed by the fact........

Yep, it could possibly be different in hillbilly nation with Mom and pops vendors, but not El cerdo anaranjado

Keep making stuff up. Works well for your side.

What? Yesterday no one ever thought of having a picture ID to get groceries, today the Trumpsters have always shown their ID at the grocery store forever. You are correct, the idea is meaningless and probably not even worth mentioning even when wasting time on an internet forum. The real problem is having a bat shit crazy president and mindless minions following him and reshaping their reality to fit his craziness.

Ok, perhaps someone will benefit from you help and you can get your good deed points for the day, since you seem to be focused on that being your intent here. I prefer to avoid situations where fraud may occur. We watch our accounts very closely to avoid any hacking... I like the idea of asking for ID with a credit card purchase. I like the idea of Photo ID for EBT cards. I like Photo ID to be required for voting. Photo ID is required to get into schools now. I like that. Everyone should have a Photo ID...Simple.
(Does your 30 years industry experience teach you how to deal with people, a well as how to deal with fraud and litigation? Doesn't seem to be the case...;)
(I'm going to start a thread on fraud and hacking and doxxing and cyber-stalking and the like. I do hope you'll drop by to offer kinder, gentler legal advice...)

I won't know anything about doxxing and stalking and hacking. That's IT and extortion type stuff. I just know credit cards are safer than debit as far as downside risk is concerned
for consumers. I dont disagree that carding people is a good idea. But it is a fact that there is wholesale disregard for that best practice. That's common knowledge.
I disclaimed offering legal advice. That's something I will do with a client who pays me. Consider my words general information, adopting the news piece I posted from
nerdwallet.

Bullshit.

https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2016/oct/17/no-voter-fraud-isnt-myth-10-cases-where-its-all-to/

In PA, unless you register to vote through vehicle registration, at county registration offices, you must show an ID to register.
If registered and you don't vote for a certain period of time (become inactive), you must show ID to vote.

"Potential voter fraud"? "Might have cast two ballots?" "Potentially duplicate registrations"? This is lame even for you, hotshot.

There's nothing on PA.gov that say you must show ID if you've been inactive. All it says is:

Do I need any identification (ID) to vote?

If you have voted at your polling location before, you do not need to bring ID to vote. Only voters who are voting for the first time in their election district need to show ID. Acceptable ID includes both photo and non-photo ID.

However, if you have something else from the official PA voting rules, please post it.

And to give all the anti-voter ID people a laugh, there's this:

SAN FRANCISCO — A man who President Donald Trump has promoted as an authority on voter fraud was registered to vote in multiple states during the 2016 presidential election, the Associated Press has learned.

Gregg Phillips, whose unsubstantiated claim that the election was marred by 3 million illegal votes was tweeted by the president, was listed on the rolls in Alabama, Texas and Mississippi, according to voting records and election officials in those states. He voted only in Alabama in November, records show.

That's funny, you kidding, you could take any Trump gym rally and find umpteen lies or fabrications, did you think he told the Kool Aid drinkers the truth

Lol. Keep it going. No one cares.

When I read all this about producing ID at the grocery store, I thought maybe the store has a, er, fraud issue with the customer. :|

I suppose ppl who live in areas with high crime might experience this more often. But even when we went to places in STL we were never asked for ID at the counter.

How blind to their own partisanship can a person be?

Anyone who's ever been owned by a cat who runs into the kitchen at the sound of the electric can opener knows this phenomenon. These morons have been conditioned to spew rationalizations whenever their Orange Lord of the Lies opens his anus-shaped piehole.
