And for the original poster of the thread: Is Griffin trying to specifically keep illegal immigrants out of her house? Then what's the point of calling it hypocritical? There are different uses for walls.

Obviously it is apples to apples. Many millions of Americans want a wall to keep out millions of illegal immigrants from Mexico. Walls help keep unwanted people out. They don't have a 100% success rate and nobody ever said they did. In Kathy Griffin's case, her neighbor can still climb over the wall if he wants, or throw things over, but having a wall cuts down the likelihood of trouble from him, so she has it built. The Left don't want Trump’s wall because they want the illegal immigrants to continue coming, along with all the crime that comes with it, in exchange for their votes. That is why they began attacking the whole principle of walls, using slogans about 'building bridges, not walls' and so on. Afterwards they contradict themselves by building their own walls whenever needed! They are hypocrites and this is just another example. So you bet it's apples for apples. The Left want to have their apple and eat it too.
