Not exactly... No Israeli flagged ship had gone thru the Straits of Tiran for 14 months before the closure.

Tipline or Eilat-Ashkelon Pipeline is an oil pipeline in Israel that transported crude oil originating from Iran inside Israel was built in 1968..

The Straits were an excuse.. Nasser asked for a summit to resolve the problem the same day as the closure.

Read Moshe Dayan.. Israel planned the 6 day war for a decade.. They wanted more land and water assets.
