John McShame is a real pill

what "taxes"?? I just addressed the savings used for tax reform.

IS MCCAIN DEAD YET??
Let me guess...you get your information from Stretch? If you don't understand how key aspects of ACA are funded, then you really ought to do some research, or just read these threads instead of commenting.

the vast majority on this board, and most other boards knows very little about health insurance. They think it's free, or whatever pittance they pay every two weeks via payroll deductions. As such, you see a lot of misinformation whenever the topic comes up.

What a shame that you haven't seen fit to contribute anything bit your opinions, oh guru. :rofl2:

So, can we chalk this up as yet another major, high-profile fail from the great dealmaker?

Remember how easy healthcare was going to be? Quick & easy. Heck, they were going to repeal & replace on DAY ONE!
'Much better coverage at a fraction of the cost....It will be so easy'

Let me guess, you won't post a source that spells out how key aspects of ACA are funded. :rofl2:

Only because Congressional GOP refuses to do anything to help lower those premiums.
More specifically, because Congressional GOP cut funding for the risk corridor program. Which is exactly what the bi partisan group is proposing for reinstatement.

Another opinion piece that does not proves your claim, Zappacrite. using large fonts does not make an opinion fact, BTW.

Take another look at what Y O U claimed, Zappacrite.

In fact it's NOT an opinion piece.

Do you deny the GOP IMMEDIATELY sued to challenge the individual mandate?

Do you DENY that the GOP argued in court that premium subsidies could not legally be distributed in states that didn’t establish their own health insurance exchanges?

Just TWO of the ten that are factually corroborated.

That you refuse to acknowledge the very simple facts presented in the article is your problem, not mine.

And that was JUST ONE of a number of ways the GOP has tried to strangle ObamaCare since it's inception.

REPUBLICANS have cut off one revenue stream after another all in order to strangle Obamacare out of existence.

If only they'd put 1/10th the energy into fashioning a TRULY affordable healthcare plan for the average American.

But no, keeping the money flowing to their greedy Big Insurance masters is more important.
Why wouldn't they just implement the panacea(s) that they have been spouting for years? Because they won't do anything.

If they really wanted to improve health insurance rates, they would start with the magical 'selling across state lines'. That was supposed to fix everything.

They NEED to get rid of that pesky 3.8% cap gains tax in order to further cut taxes. That's all this is about.

And that was JUST ONE of a number of ways the GOP has tried to strangle ObamaCare since it's inception.
That was the first step that immediately caused 13 non profit insurance companies to go out of business across the country. Then they complain about no choices on the exchanges.
