John McShame is a real pill

Why do women pay for Viagra? Or prostate exams?
Not really. It was meant to initially stabilize the general health of this society, which by default would decrease demand on the system.

Unfortunately, Republicans defunded key aspects of the law in '15, causing 13 insurance companies with the best rates to go under. trump continues to toy with insurers over funding in order to create even more doubt among insurers. Notwithstanding his moronic comments....this will be his/Republicans' fault.

REPUBLICANS have cut off one revenue stream after another all in order to strangle Obamacare out of existence.

If only they'd put 1/10th the energy into fashioning a TRULY affordable healthcare plan for the average American.

But no, keeping the money flowing to their greedy Big Insurance masters is more important.

So, can we chalk this up as yet another major, high-profile fail from the great dealmaker?

Remember how easy healthcare was going to be? Quick & easy. Heck, they were going to repeal & replace on DAY ONE!

And it was going to be AMAZING healthcare!!

:rofl2:

More Trump bullshit.

It's still more than you have brought to the discussion.

So you say, Zappacrite.

Where your evidence that Russel Walker is a "Trumpkin"? You made that claim on August 24th and have run like a scalded dog ever since.

Where's your admission that Christiecrite was right about you?

Where is your concession that your oft-stated belief that people who threadban are cowards is a double standard?

You haven't said word one to the two posters who wished DEATH on a fellow American, one who fought for their freedoms.

I just did, Zappacrite. I condemn their incivility.

Now it's your turn to condemn Christiecrite for her hypocrisy, own up to your own double standard, and admit that you can't prove that Russell Walker is a "Trumpkin".

ANYTHING to help ObamaCare work more efficiently.

So, despite your statement that the "Congressional GOP" is solely responsible for the huge increases in Obamacare premiums, you have no evidence that proves that assertion.

Do you, Zappacrite?

In case you are having a bout of libnesia, here's the exchange:

Isn't the average premium under the mis-named "Affordable Care Act" already approaching $19,000 a year?

Only because Congressional GOP refuses to do anything to help lower those premiums.

That's terrible, Zappacrite. Before I condemn their incivility, I will need some proof.

Please list these revenue streams that Republicans have cut off one after another in order to strangle Obamacare out of existence.

Zappa is correct.

Dude, there were endless stories about people who couldn't afford life-saving or life-changing care, and who didn't have insurance. Everyone knows someone who had an issue.

You think everything was hunky dory w/ the # of uninsured we had in this country? So many painful choices. So many situations where there was NO choice.

I thought Obamacare was rushed, and I did think that something like that should have involved both parties - but there is no question that it saved lives.

yes but our nation still grew and grew and people kept living. it's not needed. some people just lose the living lottery and that's the way it is.

LOL, an opinion piece and two items about cuts that establish no causality related to premium increases.

Maybe if you use a bigger font you can convince Cartoon Ken.

Sux 2 b Buck. :rofl2:

Oh by all means.

I also condemn incivility.

Of course trump should be shamed, he knows nothing about the bill, and insists it will not hurt people with pre existing conditions, which it absolutely will. Then we have the issue of millions losing coverage.

Excuse me, but nobody read the damn thing before they passed the ACA.

When enrollment goes down premiums go up.

By cutting funding to promote enrollment congress and Trump effectively raise the premiums...
You can't deny that.
It is part of their plan to try to make the AHA look like a " disaster "...

That's a start.

Now, condemn Christiecrite for her hypocrisy, own up to your own double standard, and admit that you can't prove that Russell Walker is a "Trumpkin".

Or run like a scalded dog again.

I will, right after you condemn ILA and noise for wishing death on another human being.
